Home Sweet Home

Hey, anyone recognize this old place? Add a big tree in the front yard, remove that bay window and put a big, flowery bush in front of the porch and you have...1822 W. Boone! Looks good, doesn't it?

Here are a couple that Mom sent from older days...

Obviously, these were taken right before we moved from old 1822 (notice the For Sale sign in front), the end of many fun and happy years here.

Anybody remember "camping" with blankets under those clotheslines? And how about dragging home rocks for Mom's rock garden?

Here's a sad commentary for today...

Pie maker here faces foreclosure:

Phranil Foods Co., a longtime Spokane pie maker formerly known as Vern's Pie Co., has ceased operating, and a trustee's sale of its East Spokane property has been scheduled.

Do you guys remember those mini pies we used to get there? Or the apples we would steal from the warehouse? LOL!

Hey, anybody remember a place called CAMP GIFFORD??? What a blast we had there! "Be present at our table Lord, be here and everywhere adored, these mercies bless and grant that we, may live to fight and die for thee. Amen."
